Aceross-P Tablet indications

Pain and inflammation

Adult: Each tablet contains Aceclofenac (Aceross-P Tablet) 100 mg and Paracetamol (Aceross-P Tablet) 500 mg: 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening. Max: 2 tablets/day.

Each film-coated tablet contains Aceclofenac (Aceross-P Tablet) 100 mg, Paracetamol (Aceross-P Tablet) 500 mg.

Aceross-P Tablet dosage

Oral

Pain and inflammation

Adult: Each tablet contains Aceclofenac (Aceross-P Tablet) 100 mg and Paracetamol (Aceross-P Tablet) 500 mg: 1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening. Max: 2 tablets/day.

Aceross-P Tablet interactions

Paracetamol (Aceross-P Tablet): Reduced absorption of cholestyramine within 1 hr of administration.

Accelerated absorption with metoclopramide.

Increased risk of liver damage in chronic alcoholics. Increased risk of toxicity with high doses or long term administration of barbiturates, carbamazepine, hydantoins, isoniazid, rifampicin and sulfinpyrazone.

Aceclofenac (Aceross-P Tablet): May increase the plasma concentrations of lithium and digoxin.

Increased nephrotoxicity with diuretics. Serum-potassium should be monitored when used with potassium-sparing diuretics. May enhance activity of anticoagulants. May increase plasma methotrexate levels leading to toxicity if administered within 2-4 hours of methotrexate administration. Risk of convulsions with quinolones. Potentially fatal.

Paracetamol (Aceross-P Tablet): Nausea, allergic reactions, skin rashes, acute renal tubular necrosis. Aceclofenac (Aceross-P Tablet): Diarrhoea, headache, vertigo, dizzies, nervousness, tinnitus, depression, drowsiness, insomnia; fever, angioedema, bronchospasm, rashes; blood dyscrasias.

Potentially Fatal: Paracetamol (Aceross-P Tablet): Very rare, blood dyscrasias (eg, thrombocytopaenia, leucopaenia, neutropaenia, agranulocytosis); liver damage. Aceclofenac (Aceross-P Tablet): Severe GI bleeding; nephrotoxicity.

Aceross-P Tablet contraindications

Aceross-P Tablet is contraindicated in the following situations: Patients sensitive to Aceclofenac (Aceross-P Tablet), Paracetamol (Aceross-P Tablet) or to any of the excipients of the product. Patients in whom aspirin or other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug, precipitate attacks of bronchospasm, acute rhinitis or urticaria or patients hypersensitive to drugs. Patients with active or suspected peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding or bleeding disorders. Patients with severe heart failure, hypertension, hepatic or renal insufficiency. Third trimester of pregnancy.
