Amodiaquine Uses |

Amodiaquine provides a specially effective therapy of all severe cases of malaria, it has a rapid schizonticidal action and is effective against the gametocytes of plasmodium malaria.

. eye disorders of varying types and severity: transient disturbances of accommodation, corneal opacification regressing on discontinuation of treatment, irreversible retinopathy exceptional, justifying an ophthalmic monitoring.

* Hypersensitivity to any component.
* History of liver disease and / or hematological during treatment with Amodiaquine.
* Retinopathy (in case of frequently repeated treatments).
Restricted to adults and children over 20 kg (approximately 6 years).
RECOMMENDED:
Breastfeeding: In the absence of data concerning the transition in the milk, the use of Amodiaquine in women who are breastfeeding should be avoided. R3298
