Stop taking Clofun BN and seek emergency medical attention if you experience an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of your throat; swelling of your lips, tongue, or face; or hives).
Side effects are not likely to occur with Clofun BN. Continue to take Clofun BN and talk to your doctor if you experience
nausea or stomach upset,
an unpleasant sensation in the mouth.

Minor Side Effects
Some of the side effects that can occur with Clofun BN may not need medical attention. As your body adjusts to the medicine during treatment these side effects may go away. Your health care professional may also be able to tell you about ways to reduce or prevent some of these side effects. What is the most important information I should know about Clofun BN?
Clofun BN inserts is for vaginal use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, or mouth. If you get Clofun BN inserts in your eyes, flush with a generous amount of cool water.
Be sure to use Clofun BN inserts for the full course of treatment. If you do not, the medicine may not clear up your infection completely. The fungus could also become less sensitive to this or other medicines. This could make the infection harder to treat in the future.
If your symptoms do not improve within 3 days, if they last more than 7 days, or if they get worse, check with your doctor.
Do not use Clofun BN inserts for itching caused by other conditions.
Dry the outside vaginal area completely after showering, bathing, or swimming. Do not go swimming for at least 9 to 12 hours after applying Clofun BN inserts. Change out of wet bathing suits or damp workout clothes as soon as possible.
Continue using Clofun BN inserts even during your menstrual period. Do not use tampons while you are using Clofun BN inserts or until all of your symptoms go away. Use unscented pads or pantiliners.
Do not have vaginal sexual intercourse while you are using Clofun BN inserts.
Clofun BN inserts may decrease the effectiveness of condoms and diaphragms, increasing the chance of pregnancy or risk of sexually transmitted disease.
Do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products while using Clofun BN inserts.

Clofun BN inserts should not be used in CHILDREN younger than 12 years old; safety and effectiveness in these children have not been confirmed.
PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Clofun BN inserts while you are pregnant. It is not known if Clofun BN inserts is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Clofun BN inserts, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.
Clofun BN contraindications
Contraindication can be described as a special circumstance or a disease or a condition wherein you are not supposed to use the drug or undergo particular treatment as it can harm the patient; at times, it can be dangerous and life threatening as well. When a procedure should not be combined with other procedure or when a medicine cannot be taken with another medicine, it is called Relative contraindication. Contraindications should be taken seriously as they are based on the relative clinical experience of health care providers or from proven research findings.
Possible sensitivity to Clofun BN.
Rosacea, acne, perioral dermatitis, tuberculosis of the skin and varicose ulcers.
Clofun BN is not indicated for ophthalmic use and should be used with caution around the eyes.
Teratogenicity: Corticosteroids have been shown to be teratogenic in animals following dermal application. As these agents are absorbed percutaneously, teratogenicity following topical application cannot be excluded.
Use in pregnancy: Clofun BN should not be used during pregnancy.
