Actions of Demoton-B12 in details
Pharmacology: Cyanocobalamin (Demoton-B12) acts as a coenzyme for fat and carbohydrate metabolism. It is essential for growth, cell replication, hematopoiesis and nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis. Thiamine (Demoton-B12) pyrophosphate and pyridoxal phosphate, the physiologically active form of Thiamine (Demoton-B12) and Pyridoxine (Demoton-B12) respectively, act as coenzymes for various metabolic functions affecting protein, carbohydrate and lipid metabolism. The B vitamins are readily absorbed orally except in malabsorption syndromes. It is metabolized in the liver and excreted via the kidneys.
Demoton-B12 pharmacology
It is thought that the mechanism of action of Thiamine (Demoton-B12) on endothelial cells is related to a reduction in intracellular protein glycation by redirecting the glycolytic flux.
