Dosage of Gast Reg in details
Film-Coated Tablet: Adults: 1-2 tablets 3 times a day.
Oral Suspension:
Adults: 1-2 dosing up graduation of 15 mL 3 times a day. Children: Usual Dose: One 5-mL graduation of the measuring cup/5 kg body weight/day; >5 years: 1 dosing cup graduation of 10 mL 3 times a day; 1-5 years: 1 dosing cup graduation of 5 mL 3 times a day, 6 months to 1 year: 1 dosing cup graduation of 5 mL 3 times a day, before 6 months: 1 dosing cup graduation of 2.5 mL 2-3 times a day.Administration:
Oral Suspension:
May be administered either directly or mixed in a liquid. Rinse the measuring cup thoroughly after use.Reconstitute the oral suspension in the bottle by adding water up to the mark or the bottle and shake to mix thoroughly.
Gast Reg interactions
Nitrates, beta-blockers, diuretics, tricyclic antidepressants, fentanyl, alcohol increase the hypotensive effect of Gast Reg. This medication increases the activity of theophylline reduces the renal clearance of digoxin. Nifedipine increases the side effects of vincristine (reduced elimination); increases the bioavailability of cephalosporins (cefixime). Cimetidine and ranitidine increase the level of this drug in plasma. Diltiazem slows the metabolism (requires dose reduction of nifedipine) of Gast Reg. This medicine is incompatible with rifampicin (accelerates biotransformation and does not allow to create effective concentration). Grapefruit juice (large quantity) increases its bioavailability.
