Hemoclar is used to relieve the symptoms of the bladder condition called interstitial cystitis.
Hemoclar is available only with your doctor's prescription.
Pain & edema associated w/ established varices; varices & hemorrhoids during pregnancy. Chronic venous disorders & varicose dermatitis. Varicose ulcers.
Use Hemoclar as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.

A sulfated pentosyl polysaccharide with heparin-like properties. [PubChem]
100 mg orally 3 times a day, taken with water at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.

Caution should be exercised when using Hemoclar in patients with hepatic insufficiency.
Therapy assessment should be conducted at the end of 3 months of treatment. Therapy may be continued for another 3 months if no improvement was achieved and if limited adverse effects are not present.
Safety and effectiveness have not been established in pediatric patients less than 16 years of age.

Anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, thrombolytics
Hemoclar has weak anticoagulant properties and may potentiate the pharmacological action of other anticoagulants, antiplatelet, or thrombolytic drugs.

"Adults (including the Elderly) and Children
One to two drops applied topically to each affected eye up to six times daily or more frequently if required. (Severe infections may require one to two drops every fifteen to twenty minutes initially, reducing the frequency of instillation gradually as the infection is controlled)."
