IDDM (Insuman 25/75 dependant diabetes mellitus)
Insuman 25/75 dosage
Individualized dosing in accordance w/ patient's needs. Individual Insuman 25/75 requirement: usually between 0.3 & 1 IU/kg/day given by SC inj. May be used alone or in combination w/ fast or rapid-acting Insuman 25/75. Time-action profile: onset: w/in 1.5 hr, max effect: w/in 4-12 hr; duration of action: approx 24 hr.
Insuman 25/75 interactions
Decreased Insuman 25/75 requirements w/ oral antidiabetics, MAOIs, nonselective β-blockers, ACE inhibitors, salicylates, anabolic steroids & sulfonamides. Increased Insuman 25/75 requirements w/ OCs, thiazides, glucocorticoids, thyroid hormones, sympathomimetics, growth hormone & danazol. β-blockers may mask the symptoms of hypoglycemia & delay recovery from hypoglycemia. Increased or decreased Insuman 25/75 requirements w/ octreotide/lanreotide. Intensified or reduced hypoglycemic effect w/ alcohol intake.
Insuman 25/75 side effects
Hypoglycemia. Urticaria, rash, anaphylactic reactions; peripheral neuropathy; refraction disorders; lipodystrophy; inj site reactions, edema.

Hypersensitivity.
