Patients with severe hepatic impairment should be given a lower dose initially, as these patients may have a slower clearance of Loratadine (Sensibit XP), the recommended starting dose is 5 mg once daily or 10 mg on alternate days.

Must be used with caution in patients with gastric ulcer.

RESTRICTIONS OF USE DURING PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Has not been established whether the administration of Loratadine (Sensibit XP), Ambroxol (Sensibit XP) can represent any change during pregnancy. Therefore, the drug should be used only if the potential benefit to the mother justifies the potential risk to the fetus.

It has been established that Loratadine (Sensibit XP) is excreted in human milk, because of the risk potential of antihistamines for infants, particularly newborns and premature babies should decide about stopping breast-feeding or discontinuation of the drug.
