Trihexifenidilo Neuronica is a selective M1 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist. It is able to discriminate between the M1 (cortical or neuronal) and the peripheral muscarinic subtypes (cardiac and glandular). Trihexifenidilo Neuronica partially blocks cholinergic activity in the CNS, which is responsible for the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. It is also thought to increase the availability of dopamine, a brain chemical that is critical in the initiation and smooth control of voluntary muscle movement.
How should I take Trihexifenidilo Neuronica?
Take Trihexifenidilo Neuronica every day exactly as ordered by your doctor in order to improve your condition as much as possible. Do not take more of it, do not take it more often, and do not take it for a longer time than your doctor ordered.
You may take Trihexifenidilo Neuronica before or after food, although it is usually taken with meals.
Dosing
The dose of Trihexifenidilo Neuronica will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor's orders or the directions on the label. Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of Trihexifenidilo Neuronica, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.
Storage
Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.
