What is Vb7?

Vb7 is a form of vitamin B found in foods. Vb7 helps the body break down fats, carbohydrates, and other substances.

Vb7 has been used in alternative medicine as a likely effective aid in treating or preventing Vb7 deficiency. Vb7 deficiency can be caused by malnutrition, rapid weight loss, long-term tube feeding, and other medical conditions.

Vb7 has also been used to treat seborrhea (skin rash) in babies. However, research has shown that Vb7 may not be effective in treating this condition.

Other uses not proven with research have included treating brittle nails or thinning hair, diabetes, nerve pain, and other conditions.

It is not certain whether Vb7 is effective in treating any medical condition. Medicinal use of this product has not been approved by the FDA. Vb7 should not be used in place of medication prescribed for you by your doctor.

Vb7 is often sold as an herbal supplement. There are no regulated manufacturing standards in place for many herbal compounds and some marketed supplements have been found to be contaminated with toxic metals or other drugs. Herbal/health supplements should be purchased from a reliable source to minimize the risk of contamination.

Vb7 may also be used for purposes not listed in this product guide.

Vb7 indications

An indication is a term used for the list of condition or symptom or illness for which the medicine is prescribed or used by the patient. For example, acetaminophen or paracetamol is used for fever by the patient, or the doctor prescribes it for a headache or body pains. Now fever, headache and body pains are the indications of paracetamol. A patient should be aware of the indications of medications used for common conditions because they can be taken over the counter in the pharmacy meaning without prescription by the Physician.

Uses of Vb7 in details

There are specific as well as general uses of a drug or medicine. A medicine can be used to prevent a disease, treat a disease over a period or cure a disease. It can also be used to treat the particular symptom of the disease. The drug use depends on the form the patient takes it. It may be more useful in injection form or sometimes in tablet form. The drug can be used for a single troubling symptom or a life-threatening condition. While some medications can be stopped after few days, some drugs need to be continued for prolonged period to get the benefit from it.

Vb7 is a water soluble B-complex vitamin needed for normal growth and development of skin and hair and maintenance of a healthy nervous system and bone marrow. It is used to prevent and treat Vb7 deficiency associated with pregnancy, long-term tube feeding, malnutrition, and rapid weight loss. It is also used orally for hair loss, brittle nails, skin rash in infants (seborrheic dermatitis), diabetes, and mild depression.

Vb7 description

A dibenzoxepin tricyclic compound. It displays a range of pharmacological actions including maintaining adrenergic innervation. Its mechanism of action is not fully understood, but it appears to block reuptake of monoaminergic neurotransmitters into presynaptic terminals. It also possesses anticholinergic activity and modulates antagonism of histamine H(1)- and H(2)-receptors.

The anticonvulsants carbamazepine, phenytoin, Phenobarbital, and primidone may accelerate Vb7 metabolism, leading to a reduction in available Vb7. Chronic use of these drugs has been associated with decreased plasma concentrations of Vb7.

The use of antibiotics may reduce the contribution of Vb7 made by bacteria within the large intestine.
