Nutritional supplementation in patients w/ depressed appetite.

Buclizine HCl/cyanocobalamin/elemental Fe/pyridoxine HCl/Thiamine mononitrate dosage

Adult 1 cap once daily.

Buclizine HCl/cyanocobalamin/elemental Fe/pyridoxine HCl/Thiamine mononitrate interactions

Buclizine HCl: Increased possibility for toxicity w/ alcohol & other CNS depressants eg, hypnotics, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti-anxiety agents & narcotic analgesics. Prolonged & intensified anticholinergic effect w/ MAOIs (eg, amitriptyline, imipramine, sertraline, moclobemide). Fe (as ferrous fumarate): Decreased absorption w/ antacids & tetracyclines. Delayed Fe therapy response w/ chloramphenicol. May decrease absorption & reduce bioavailability of carbidopa, levodopa, methyldopa & penicillamine.

Buclizine HCl/cyanocobalamin/elemental Fe/pyridoxine HCl/Thiamine mononitrate side effects

Buclizine HCl: Drowsiness, dry mouth, headache, nausea & jitteriness. Fe (as ferrous fumarate): GI effects (eg nausea, vomiting, bloating & upper abdominal discomfort) at high doses; diarrhea or constipation, teeth staining, darker stool color. Pyridoxine HCl: Neurologic effects in chronic administration of high doses (100-500 mg/day) & long-term (≥2 mth) megadose (≥2 g/day) use.
