Cofsils indications
Indicated for the relief of minor mouth and throat infections. Cofsils Original is also indicated for relief of coughs due to colds and allergies.
Cofsils description
Each Cofsils lozenge contains dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg and Amylmetacresol (Cofsils) 600 mcg.
Regular: Red circular lozenge with aniseed odor and with a characteristic acid taste.
Honey and Lemon: Yellow circular lozenge with a taste of honey and lemon.
Orange: Orange circular lozenge with a characteristic orange flavor.
Menthol: Blue circular lozenge with a characteristic taste.
Herbal Mint: Brown circular lozenge with a characteristic taste.
Cofsils dosage
Cofsils Children 6+ Lozenges are suitable for children over 6 years old. Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours. Do not take more than 12 lozenges per day. If symptoms persist, consult the doctor.
Cofsils interactions
These lozenges may interfere with the action of sulphonamides.
Cofsils side effects
May occasionally cause allergic reactions. Taste perversion and burning sensation of the throat have been reported.
Cofsils contraindications
Allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of Cofsils Dual Action.
