Diprosta indications

indicated for the relief of the inflammatory manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dematoses when complicated by secondary infection, Caused by organisms susceptible to gentamicin

Diprosta interactions

There are no known drug interactions with topical Betamethasone dipropionate (Diprosta).

Diprosta side effects

  • Rash

  • Skin darkening

  • Stinging and redness

  • Blistering

  • Excessive fluid retention in the body tissues, resulting in swelling (oedema)

  • Burning sensation

  • Excessive hair growth (hypertrichosis)

  • Skin thinning

  • Secondary infection

  • Inflammation of the hair follicles (folliculitis)

    Diprosta contraindications

    Not to be used in

    * Acne vulgaris

    * Allergy to this medicine or similar medicines

    * Bacterial skin infections

    * Children under 12 years of age

    * Chronic inflammatory disorder of the facial skin (acne rosacea)

    * Inflammatory rash around the mouth (perioral dermatitis)

    * Nappy rash

    * Viral skin infections such as chickenpox or herpes simplex
