Sialor indications

Sialor is indicated in all cases of decreased salivation.

• During drug therapy (e.g. anticholinergic or some psychotropic drugs)

• After irradiation of tumours in the buccal cavity and the pharynx, a frequent cause of severe dry mouth

• In the elderly and in smokers

Sialor dosage

4-6 tabs daily, 2 tabs at a time 15 minutes before each meal. Children: Proportionately less.

Moot.

Sialor side effects

Softening of the stool may be observed in isolated cases and warrants a temporary reduction of the dosage or cessation of treatment.
